We have been shooting a few photo booths this year and are learning and adapting to the challenges of this fun little add on. I have liked it so far and thought we would share a few pics from a recent set up. Peace.
You might notice the recurring face here, well here’s our last effort to get on screen.
Andrew and Ai were married a few weekends back and everything about their wedding was spectacular. I really loved the details and have so many favorites from their special day. If you want to see pics from their wedding check out the featured tab on our website! I decided to feature their wedding because of the awesome music, details, vendors and fun.
The day after the wedding we met up again for a morning after shoot. Here are my faves from their shoot.
I said that I was only going to use our new blog for wedding posts (we aren’t really doing many family/baby/senior pics anymore and wanted to showcase wedding work), but I just had to post a few of this little boy. This was the best and easiest baby photo shoot that I have ever been a part of. He was asleep the whole time, from one spot to another he would grunt a bit and then sleep. We were so excited to get so many little sleeping pics and I am still shocked that he didn’t wake up till right at the end. He is such a doll, here are a few faves of baby Colin!
Very excited to announce my current publication in 944 magazines new wedding issue. The article is to get a brides account on her wedding planning, meetings, dress fittings, etc. So for the shoots, I followed our bride to her dress appointment, flower appointment and a meeting with her wedding planner! It was alot of fun and you can find the article in their mag. They also have an online magazine for ipods, ipads, etc. Check it out! Here are pics of the mag and also a few of my favorite images that aren’t in the magazine.
Obviously the details are my favorite again… I love details.
Alison from Viva La Diva Events.
She also has an awesome article in the mag.
This year I will be walking the Susan G. Komen 3 day walk for a cure. I am super excited and a bit nervous, but it should be an awesome experience! For the walk each person has to raise $2,300 and part of that for me is going to be photography contributions. I was going to just take half of one of my weddings to start the process, but we decided to do 10% of each wedding instead. This actually ends up being more of a contribution and today I will start the ball rolling with our first $200. One of our brides paid us in full for her 2011 wedding and so her 10% will be going in today. My friend all the way from high school will be joining me in the walk and I will be splitting the money from the weddings. So each of us will get our first donation of $100 today. If you want to donate towards the cause, please visit my donation site, HERE! Toole Art Photography will also be having two mini shoot days to support our walk. One will be in Ann Arbor in the spring and another in Holland in the spring. We hope to be to our goal soon after those events. WOO HOO! We will also be making shirts soon, more to come on that!
Sorry for the lack of photos lately as well. I have to say that this past summer was the busiest and hardest of my photography career. While it was also the best and happiest, it really left me drained and I think I have been busy recovering. I was in a reading comma for awhile and read about 7/8 books right after the new year and then I discovered a new guilty pleasure, Greek. I watched this for awhile as well. I seam to be feeling more myself and also more energized to finish up my 2010 posts. More to come soon! Here are a few pics of the family this cold and snowy winter!!
